Before GeckoBone was a calcium powder, it was just a group of leopard gecko owners answering the same five questions over and over in forums and Reddit threads:

Do I really need both D3 and non-D3 calcium?

If you have UVB lighting: yes. Non-D3 goes in the dish (your gecko self-regulates), and D3 is for dusting once a week. Without UVB: you can use D3 for everything, but the Starter Kit gives you both so you're covered if you upgrade to UVB later. Full breakdown here.

How long does the Starter Kit last?

Two 3oz jars cover one adult leopard gecko for 4-6 months. The ceramic dish lasts forever. The laminated feeding card survives water spills and cricket escapes. When you're running low, the subscription refill ships automatically.

Can I just buy one bottle?
